Study on Dynamic Response of Damper under Gas Explosion Impact

Mine ventilation provides fresh air to underground workers. The dampers can provide a qualified each demand workplace by adjusting the volume, which ensure workers’ health. However, powerful impact damage caused gas explosions in roadway lead deformation and even cause breakdown of system. At same time, effects may worker fatalities. For this reason, dynamic response their need be studied. Based on analysis damper construction characteristics explosion, ANSYS/LS-DYNA software is used establish mathematical-physical model with ventilation-regulating windows six different sizes. reliability verified comparing simulated pressure values calculated Sadowski equation. under explosion are displacement, equivalent stress effective plastic strain measured. Finally, theoretical carried out. study results show that displacement increases gradually from edge center symmetrical absence window. region below window more obvious when installed. maximum first appears at four corners damper, unit position increase side length lower left corner then decreases window, all stresses units decrease, finally, basically approach stable value. From instantaneous ignition completion final reaction, increases, but area decreases. consistent situation accident. research some basis data support for structure selection, location selection setting
